A needed reminder :)
I’m Kind but Still Strong 💛
See the end of this email to feed a desperate child with a single tap. (takes one second)
Hey Friend,
Being kind doesn’t mean you’re weak, and being strong doesn’t mean you’re cold. You can be both. Being kind means you lead with empathy, patience, and care. Being strong means you know when to say no, when to walk away, and when to protect your peace. The two can exist together, even if the world sometimes tells you they can’t.
Here’s the part people don’t say out loud enough. Kindness has probably cost you before. You’ve stayed quiet when something hurt, gave more than you had, and told yourself you were being “understanding” when you were actually exhausted. And strength? You’ve been forced into it, not because you wanted to be tough, but because life didn’t give you a softer option. That doesn’t make you bitter or guarded. It means you adapted. It means you learned.
You’re allowed to be gentle without being a doormat. You’re allowed to be firm without being cruel. Real strength isn’t loud or aggressive, it’s the calm confidence of knowing your limits and respecting them. 🤍

A Little Note from Me:
There was a time I thought being kind meant tolerating things that hurt me. And there was a time I thought being strong meant shutting people out. Neither felt right. What finally changed things was realizing that real strength is knowing your limits and honoring them, with calm, not guilt. You don’t have to prove your strength by suffering in silence. Being kind and strong means choosing yourself without losing your humanity. And if you’re still learning how to balance that, you’re not behind, you’re human.
With softness,
Your friends at PeacePulse <3
