I'm so appreciated
Your Reminder :)
I’m so appreciated
See the end of this email to feed a starving child with a single tap. (only takes one second)
Hey,
Can we talk about how good it feels when someone actually sees you? Like really sees the effort you put in, the little things you do that nobody asked for but you did anyway because that's just who you are.
You've spent so long being the one who remembers birthdays, who checks in first, who shows up early and stays late to help clean up. You give and give and sometimes it feels like nobody notices. But you deserve to feel appreciated too. Not just for what you do, but for who you are.
A lot of us were taught that being needed is the same as being valued. So we keep doing more, hoping someone will finally say "I see you." And when they do? When someone actually thanks you, or notices the small stuff, or tells you they're grateful you exist? It hits different. It should hit different. That's your heart finally getting the recognition it's been quietly waiting for.
Being appreciated isn't something you have to earn through exhaustion. You don't need to burn yourself out to deserve kindness back. You're allowed to receive love just because you're you, not because of some invoice of favors you've racked up.
So if someone told you today that they appreciate you, let it land. You worked hard for that softness, even if you didn't realize you were working for it at all.
Children are able to be fed,
because you don’t get tired of tapping.
With a single tap on the site below, you trigger a donation from our ads. I commit to turning part of those funds directly into meals for starving children. Your one second of effort is their moment of hope.
1000s of people are already building their own apps with AI. Justin Burns shows you exactly how, live, in 3 days. No code, no dev team. Totally free. Register for the summit.

A Little Note from Me:
I used to brush off compliments so fast, like they'd expire if I sat with them too long. Someone would say "I really appreciate you" and I'd go "oh it's nothing" before the words even settled. But it's not nothing. Someone taking the time to notice you, that's real. I'm learning to just say thank you and mean it back to myself too. You worked for this feeling. Let yourself have it.
