I Outgrow What Weighs Me Down
See the end to support starving kids with just a tap (takes one second)
Hey! 🌼
Growth is rarely loud. It’s not always some huge, dramatic moment. Sometimes, it looks like quietly realizing something no longer fits, an old habit, a toxic relationship, a version of yourself you’ve outgrown. And that realization? That’s strength. That’s healing. That’s you evolving into who you were always meant to be.
Outgrowing doesn’t mean you’re broken, it means you’re becoming who you need to be. It means you’ve learned, shifted, and raised your standards. It’s choosing peace over patterns, truth over comfort, and your future over what used to feel familiar. And yes, it can and will feel lonely sometimes. Letting go of what once felt like home is never easy. But holding onto what weighs you down only keeps you from rising. Even if it once helped you survive, it might not help you grow. And you deserve to grow. You deserve to move forward without an apology.
So take the deep breath. Release the guilt. Trust the process. You’re not “too much” for changing. You’re just no longer willing to carry what was never yours to hold. You are allowed to grow past what no longer serves your heart.

A Little Note from Me:
I’ve had to let go of things that once felt like everything to me, old friendships, old identities, old ways of thinking. And even though it hurt at first, I slowly realized I wasn’t losing myself….I was finding myself. Every time I released what weighed me down, I felt a little lighter, a little clearer. And I want you to know that the same is possible for you.
With love,
Your friends at PeacePulse <3
